Q. What is English Grammar ?

Ans : English grammar is the set of structural rules of the English language.
( अंग्रेजी भाषा के संरचनात्मक नियमों के समूह को अंग्रेजी व्याकरण कहते हैं। )

=> How many kinds of English Grammar ?
Ans : There are five kinds of English Grammar.
1. Orthography (वर्ण विचार)
2. Etymology (शब्द विचार)
3. Syntex (वाक्य विचार)
4. Punctuation (चिन्ह बिचार)
5. Prosody (छंद विचार)

1. What is Orthography ?
Ans : Orthography is a part of English Grammar with the help of which we learn about letters.
( वर्ण विचार, अंग्रेजी व्याकरण का एक भाग है, जिसकी मदद से हम अक्षरों के बारे में सीखते हैं।)
Ex : A, B, C, D ………. Z. a, b, c, d ………. z.


2. What is Etymology ?
Ans : Etymology is a part of English Grammar with the help of which we learn about words.
( शब्द विचार, अंग्रेजी व्याकरण का एक भाग है, जिसकी मदद से हम शब्दों के बारे में सीखते हैं।)
Ex : Mango, Apple, Pen, Book …………. Etc.


3. What is Syntex ?
Ans : Syntex is a part of English Grammar with the help of which we learn about sentences.
( वाक्य विचार, अंग्रेजी व्याकरण का एक भाग है, जिसकी मदद से हम वाक्यों के बारे में सीखते हैं।)
Ex : This is Ram. , Mohan is a boy. , This is a book. ………… Etc.


4. What is Punctuation ?
Ans : Punctuation is a part of English Grammar with the help of which we learn about different types of symbols and signs.
( शब्द विचार, अंग्रेजी व्याकरण का एक भाग है, जिसकी मदद से हम कई प्रकार चिन्हों के बारे में सीखते हैं।)
Ex : . | , | ? | “ ” ………..etc


5. What is Prosody ?
Ans : Prosody is a part of English Grammar with the help of which we learn about rhymes, rhythm and music.
( छंद विचार, अंग्रेजी व्याकरण का एक भाग है, जिसकी मदद से हम छंद, लय और संगीत के बारे में सीखते हैं।)
Ex : Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
How I wonder what you are!
Up above the world so high,
Like a diamond in the sky.
